Smurfs Football Club, founded in 2018 by Hashim Nawaz Khan & Hamza Wasti, is one of Pakistan's fastest-growing football institutions. With over 38 centers and 10,000+ players across six cities, the club is reshaping grassroots football.

Smurfs Football Club was founded in 2018 by Hashim Nawaz Khan, a young and passionate football enthusiast driven by a singular vision — to change the landscape of football in Pakistan. With a dream to build something meaningful for the future of the sport, he joined hands with Mr. Hamza Wasti, the person with a record of coaching over 5000 players in Pakistan and together they laid the foundation of what would become one of the most influential football projects in the country.

What began as a modest initiative quickly grew into Smurfs Football Academy, an institution committed to grassroots development and professional training. Over the years, this vision transformed into a nationwide movement, with the academy expanding to 38 centers across six major cities in Pakistan, nurturing the talent of over 10,000 young players.

Smurfs FC didn’t stop at domestic development. The club has proudly represented Pakistan on the international stage, participating in elite tournaments such as the Asian Championships and the Afro-Asian Football Cup. The team has gone head-to-head with some of the biggest names in world football, including youth sides of FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and AC Milan, showcasing Pakistani talent on a global platform.

One of the club’s most groundbreaking achievements came when a Smurfs player was signed by Werder Bremen — a landmark moment in Pakistani football history. This transfer marked the first time a player from a Pakistani club signed a professional contract with a German club, establishing Smurfs FC as a true pioneer in international player development.

Today, Smurfs Football Club stands not just as a football team, but as a movement for change, a platform for youth, and a symbol of how vision, hard work, and belief can take Pakistani football to the world stage.

Smurfs Foundation was launched in 2019 by Smurfs Football Academy as a way to give back to the community. Since its inception, the foundation has played an active role in social welfare, especially during times of need. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it distributed around 5,000 ration packages, reaching over 50,000 individuals through various Ramadan campaigns. Driven by compassion and community spirit, Smurfs continues to lead meaningful initiatives through its foundation work.
